What does H.E.R. stand for?

H.E.R. Day Corporation, where H.E.R. stands for Here Everyone Relates, is

a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded June 24, 2009.

On April 21, 2008 Lois Nelson passed away suddenly due to an

undetected heart condition called Cardiomyopathy.  Lois Nelson was the

mother of Alexis Nelson, Founder & President of H.E.R. Day Corporation.  "No one

in our family knew that my mother was ill or suffered from Cardiomyopathy not even

her.  I immediately felt hopeless, afraid, confused and overwhelmed with grief when my

mother passed away; I was lost and very upset.  I knew days after my mom passed away

that this conference was coming." - Alexis Nelson

Developed from a vision and an overwhelming demand H.E.R. Day was birthed from the voices of many daughters that Alexis would meet in passing that lost their mothers also.  After sharing her feelings and vision daughters of all ages, races, and creeds agreed that this type of conference is necessary because there is a great need for it.

H.E.R. Day Annual Conference

H.E.R. Day Conference is our awesome annual conference where women who are dealing with the loss of their mother can come together to learn coping mechanisms to better live life without their mothers. The goal through this process is that the daughter will gain strength, health awareness, make a connection and find a new hope. We recognize that friends play major roles in the lives of many women and with that friend in mind we also have a session that specifically speaks to the friend(s).

Mission

Our mission is to provide an atmosphere for women who have lost their mothers where they can obtain knowledge, health awareness, make a connection of understanding and be encouraged.

Vision

Our vision is to hold H.E.R. Day Conferences across the U.S. in every state and every year helping daughters who have lost their mothers.
